Euro 1 instructors are approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to train drivers in all areas of the transport industry from LGV Class C all the way up to LGV C+E Articulate/Draw-bar 44Tonne. All our LGV instruction is done on a one on one basis.
Our driving tests are taken at the same examination centre. Knowledge gained in passing your Cat. C test can be used to assist you when training for the next step - LGV Cat. C+E.
We understand that we need to be flexible to fit in with your business and domestic commitments. Euro1 can tailor your LGV, DCPC and Periodic Training to fit in with your busy life. Hourly, intensive or tailor made courses to suit business or individual needs, can be arranged.
Euro1 can prepare you to pass your DCPC Module 4 "show me" test and provide the vehicle for that test. The "show me" syllabus currently covers items relating to vehicle safety, security of loads, vehicle daily walk round checks, prevention of trafficking all of which can be prepped by our Instructors
Driving tests are blocked booked to minimise waiting time.
Reversing and manoeuvring takes place on our own private practice area.

For a driver with a car licence passed AFTER 1st Jan. 1997
Medical Examination £50.00.
Driving Assessment 1 hour £ No Charge.
Mod. 1 (the old theory test) Test Fees £50.00 we will lend you the home study kit. Mod. 2 (the new DCPC Case Study computer based test) ,Test Fees £30.00 Mod. 3 (the old practical test taken at the Driving Test Centre) Test Fees £115.00 and vehicle hire for 4 hours £180.00, and finally Mod. 4 (the new DCPC "show me" practical test carried out at the Driving Test Centre. Test Fee £55.00, Mod. 4 preparation and training plus vehicle hire £135.00.
The average number of lessons required to achieve the standard required to pass the DSA LGV Driving Test is 16 hours, currently costing £900.00.
Total cost of training for Mods 1, 2, 3 & 4 is £1300.00
For a driver with a car licence issued BEFORE 1st Jan. 1997

LGV Category C + E should require less training hours and the client should budget for around £850.00 inc. all test fees
